Although I will agree with most people that McDonald's fries are superior to those of other fast-food chains, I do have a little qualm. There doesn't seem to be a set amount of salt to be added. That means, depending on which chain restaurant you purchase your fries from, you could have too little or too much salt. Surely McDonald's has heard complaints of this kind before, so why hasn't it done anything to correct it? Its french fries are a vital part of its image, and they should take careful measures to protect it.
Also, if they could invent a french-fry holder which prevents all the salt from sinking to the bottom, they would gain a good amount of revenue. And having holders that fit into cars' cup holders can't hurt either.
